Symptoms Of Hemorrhoids May Include

Bleeding after passing a stool - the blood is usually bright red
Soreness, redness and swelling around your anus
Itchy bottom and a mucus discharge after passing a stool. Plump hanging down outside of the anus, which may need to be pushed back in after passing a stool.

Signs and symptoms of an anal fissure include

Pain, sometimes severe, during bowel movements which may last up to several hours
Bright red blood on the stool or toilet paper after a bowel movement
