Sciatica is a very common problem which is gaining its roots more and more in our society. Sciatic pain is defined as a peculiar type of pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve travels from the lower back through the hips and buttocks and down each leg. Sciatica most often occurs when a herniated disk or an overgrowth of bone puts pressure on the part of the nerve. This results in inflammation, pain and often some numbness in the affected leg. Sciatica is called as gridhrasi in Ayurveda. This condition is mainly due to the aggravation of vata dosha. Following are the formulations which are being included in sciatica care pack so as to reduce symptoms in this condition and also help in anulomana of vata dosha.

Products Description

1. HAKAM CHURNA

Hakam Churna is a really great formulation which is really effective in various types of metabolic disorders and also helps in anulomana of vata dosha. The main function of this churna is to digest the ama dosha or the endotoxins so that the sroto sanga of the microchannel's blockage is relieved. The product gives very great results and hence results in enhanced or improved metabolism. In addition, the hakam churna is a really great agent for pacification of aggravated dosha as well and is really great in relieving pain in many aggravated vata disorders. The product gives fantastic results as an antispasmodic in stomach issues and improves weak digestion. The churna due to its ama digestion effect has a very impressive impact on the sciatica. 2. BOSWELLIA CURCUMIN

Boswellia Curcumin has anti-inflammatory properties due to its two very effective ingredients which are Shallaki (Boswellia serrata) and Curcumin (Curcuma longa). The two herbs work excellently to reduce the inflammation and also have their effect on pain. They also play an important role in improving circulation as well. The sciatica can also be due to agantuk and nij karana. In that case boswellia curcumin has its impact on that too along with shoola. Vrihat Vatchintamani Ras is a classical preparation which is being manufactured using Swarna Bhasma (calx of gold), Rajata Bhasma (calx of silver), Abhrak Bhasma (calx of mica), Loha Bhasma (calx of iron), Pravala Bhasma (calx of coral), Mukta Bhasma (calx of pearl) and Suta Bhasma (calx of a compound of purified mercury and sulphur).
