It's no secret that the harsh Indian summers leave your skin tanned and damaged. Even if you regularly apply sunscreen and cover yourself head to toe, prolonged exposure to the sun causes tan and pigmentation. This can ultimately make your skin dull and damaged. So what is the solution to this? How do you reverse this damage and achieve lost radiance without harming the skin? Ayurveda's ancient healing system has a closely guarded secret- the illuminating potion the royal queens used to achieve their radiant, nourishing glow. Made with the same recipe from the ancient Ayurvedic text-Sahasrayogam, Kerala Ayurveda Nalpamaradi Keram is a pre-shower de-tan oil that protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun- tan, pigmentation, and dark spots. It has the essence of “Varnya” or complexion-enhancing herbs like the barks of four ficus trees, turmeric, and vetiver in Coconut oil, that gently heal and soothe all skin types.

Turmeric is known as Haridra in Sanskrit, meaning the one that adorns Hari or Lord Vishnu. Its radiant yellow colour is auspicious and is associated with the Sun God. It has been used extensively in skin care products because it helps reduce sun damage. The golden yellow colour of Nalpamaradi Keram is because of turmeric.
