Left Abdominal Drops

Pain abdomen is a common complaint. The side and site affected often guide to the diagnosis of underlying cause. Many a times pain is often guide to a diagnosis of underlying cause but pain maybe non specific and often restricted to one side of the abdomen. Till the time proper diagnosis is made combating pain is important.

Composition

Lachesis 20x, Lycopodium clavatum 3x, Palladium metallicum 12x, Pimpinella saxifrage 12x.

Indications

For left sided pain owing to affections of organs on this side, like Renal disorders, Parametritis, Salpingitis, Ovarian cysts/growths in abdomen

Dosage

According to the degree of pain, 10-15 drops should be taken in a little warm water every 15-30 minutes. In chronic cases 10-15 drops should be taken in some water 3 times a day before meals for a minimum of 12-16 weeks or as prescribed by the physician.

Action of Ingredients

• Lachesis- Abdomen tympanitic (left), sensitive, painful. Symptoms appear on left side, then go to the right side, especially in the throat and ovaries. Left sided paralysis after a stroke or cerebral exhaustion. Awkward gait, left side weak.
• Lycopodium clavatum- Pain shooting across lower abdomen from right to left. Deep-seated, progressive, chronic diseases. Carcinoma. Diptheria, deposits spread from right to left, worse cold drinks.
• Palladium- An ovarian remedy; produces the symptom complex of chronic Oophoritis. Ovarian tumors. Bearing down pain relieved by pressure.
• Pimpinella saxifraga- Specific action in renal calculi (left side). The action of the present remedy is directed in the main affections of the feminine abdomen (left), when the pains radiate in the upper parts and are eventually accompanied with Renal Calculi or intestinal pains.

Advice: Complementary Remedies

• B3 in case of convulsive intestinal spasm and diarrhoea.
• B6 with inflammation of all kinds especially with fever.
• B9 for bleeding Haemorrhoids and affections of the Rectum or Bakson Pilgo Tablets.
• B14 for Renal Calculi or Bakson Bakunil Syrup.
• B34 for suspected tumors.
• B37 for disorder of Ovaries.
• B55 in case of sharp pain in sacral region.
