SYMPTOMS OF SORE THROAT

Action Of Ingredients

Mercurius iodatus ruber (Merc.bin.iod) : It is indicated when the throat is dark red with painful swallowing. Cough associated with a foreign body sensation in the throat.

Baryta carbonica : Stinging and smarting pain in tonsils, pharynx or larynx. Smarting pain when swallowing, worse on empty swallowing. Indicated for chronic aphonia from over use of voice.
Ferrum phosphoricum : Useful in the first stage of all inflammatory conditions, especially for catarrhal affections of the respiratory tract.Subacute laryngitis with red and inflamed throat. Indicated for sore throat, especially of singers.
Senega : Indicated for catarrhal inflammation of throat with scraping hoarseness. There is burning and rawness with hoarseness and pain while talking.
Ammonium muriaticum : There is internal and external swelling of throat with viscid phlegm. Hoarseness and burning in larynx.

For better results along with THROAT AID, patients are advised to avoid the following items

Cold items like ice-creams, chilled water and cold drinks.
Sour foods like curd, citrus food, pickles, ketchup, sambhar etc.
Spicy food items.
Preparations made in oil/butter or ghee.
