Adenomyosis is a Gynaecological condition in which there is outgrowth of the endometrial layer of the uterus into its muscle wall.The displaced tissue continues to act normally — thickening, breaking down and bleeding — during each menstrual cycle. This results in very painful menstrual cramps along with heavy menstrual bleeding, also termed as menorrhagia medically. Due to Adenomyosis a female generally has a bulky or enlarged uterus and also faces gastric troubles like excessive flatulence, bloating or feeling of fullness. Ayurveda understands conditions like Adenomyois as the result of vata prakopa due to blockage in some micro channels mostly due to accumulation of ama dosha which shares similar properties to kapha dosha. 1. KANCHNAAR GUGGUL

Kanchnaar Guggul, is a famous classical formulation that has kanchanar and guggul as its ingredients. Along with these two it also has many other herbs which are of help in this situation. The formulation has effective results in pacification of dosha and due to presence of guggul helps in the clearing of channels as well. Due to pacification of kapha dosha, kanchnar guggul helps with the subsiding of any type of overgrowths in the body. This specifically helps with the enlarged or bulky uterus. Guggul on the other hand also has a healing effect thus Guggul in this or any other formulation gives fantastic results in anulomana of kapha and vata dosha.

2. CHANDRAKALA RAS

Chandrakala Ras is a classical formulation which has very impressive results in almost all types of bleeding disorders. The formulation has ingredients like Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora), Amla (Emblica officinalis), Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans), Tin calx, Iron calx and many others.
