Tinospora cordifolia
This remedy is a tonic used as a stimulant where the patient has become extremely weak due to recurrent attacks of fever or seminal emissions. Tinospora is considered useful in enlarged spleen, secondary syphilis, rheumatism, leprosy, skin diseases, jaundice, splenic affections, torpidity of liver, acute and chronic fevers, worms, vomiting, haemorrhoids, dysuria, flatulence, and palpitations of the heart. It is indicated for fevers especially intermittent fevers, acute and chronic malarial fevers, where the temperature rises in the afternoon with chilliness or shaking chill. Fevers with bilious vomiting associated with thirst and headache.
Chronic slow fevers with history of gonorrhoea and weakness due to seminal emissions. For fever due to quinine abuse. Fever with burning felt in face, hands and feet, and enlargement of liver and spleen, jaundice with yellow colour of eyes, no desire for food and headache.
