Mensin Drops

Dysmenorrhea refers to the syndrome of painful menstruation. Although it is not life-threatening, Dysmenorrhea can be debilitating and psychologically taxing for many women. While most women experience minor pain during menstruation, Dysmenorrhea is diagnosed when the pain is so severe as to limit normal activities or requires medication. Dysmenorrhea can feature sharp, throbbing, dull, nauseating, burning or shooting pain.

Composition

Caulophyllum thalictroides 3x, Chamomilla 6x, Cimicifuga racemose 3x, Cuprum aceticum 4x, Magnesium phosphoricum 8x, Viburnum opulus 2x.

Indications

Helps relieve Dysmenorrhoea with cramping pains, besides easing labour pains.

Dosage

In acute cases 10 drops should be diluted with water and taken every 2 hourly 6 times a day, in chronic cases take dose 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

Action of Ingredients

• Caulophyllum- Spasmodic and severe pains, which fly in all directions; shivering, without progress; false pains. Dysmenorrhoea.
• Chamomilla- Patient intolerant of pain, Profuse discharge of clotted, dark blood, with labor-like pains.
• Cimicifuga rac.- Pain immediately before menses. Menses profuse, dark, coagulated, offensive with backache, nervousness; always irregular. Ovarian neuralgia. Pain across pelvis, from hip to hip. After-pains, with great sensitiveness and intolerance to pain.
• Cuprum aceticum- Violent spasmodic pains in stomach and abdomen. Severe Dysmenorrhoea.
• Magnesium phos.- The great anti-spasmodic remedy. Cramping of muscles with radiating pains. Neuralgic pains relieved by warmth. Menstrual colic. Membranous Dysmenorrhoea.
• Viburnum opulus- A general remedy for cramps. Colicky pains in pelvic organs. Crampy pains, cramps extend down thighs, Bearing-down pains before. Ovarian region feels heavy and congested. Aching in sacrum and pubes, with pain in anterior muscles of thighs; spasmodic and membranous Dysmenorrhoea.

Advice

In menstrual irregularities like Menorrhagia and Metrorrhagia: Take Bakson Fem Aid / Menso Aid Syrup. If spasms radiate to the entire abdomen give additionally B19.
